Yeah, but that's not UWSC. You just took a bunch of perma scythes and mobbed everything, from the looks of it.

I've messed up a little and this is waht i've been able to see:

Nothing else, just tried chamber & vale xD

I've also noted an incresea @ ecto drop rate...

pretty much. alot of the quests require 2+ people, so we just did them altogether. feel free to try traditional uwsc builds and tactics until you run yourself into the ground.

Tried uwg - managed to kill all the keepers but the one near mnt (solo) ¿Any help?

The name UWSC isn't reserved for just one build. If it clears UW pretty fast then you can call it UWSC, regardless of the tactics used. Just like the Ursan UWSC and whatever was before that.

Than ANET has achieve its primary goal; teamwork to run vs individuals for each area. Until I see a build that can run UW w/ one conset, there is no more UW SPEED CLEAR...just Underworld Clearing.

come from north side and just run past the skeles. kill the lone skele that is near the keeper. then kill the keeper.

ye that they did. nobody is "wastes, plains, pits" now. it's a full team effort. i'm sure faster builds and ideas will be found, but you're still going to teleport alot and do quests as a team.

Did I just catch this thread correctly? That now ,when you zone into UW, there's (3) dum skeles camping your party?

I guess that's a good way to nerf UW. Would have been better to deal with the perma issue, logically...

And NO. I'm not going to waste any more scrolls to see if this is in fact the case.

I've done UW with 2 people and 5 heroes faster than that.

So...what's that about UWSC?

2 discord teams clear it pretty fast, heck i decided to take a spin as an ursan with some necro heroes...got a tad boring though

when you talk about discord, i'm guessing you mean normal mode, and not doing most quests.

i wouldn't call our time a speedclear, we just wanted to go for completion. faster times can definitely be had, but there is lots of risk. the difficulty level is on par with DoA in my opinion. the rewards are also not worth the cost at the moment. maybe with time, ectos will rise more and e-blades also, but until then, its more of something to do for a challenge.

perma'ing, nor farming was the issue with the uwsc, if you take away perma you take away quite a few other forms of farming and transportation and they didnt want to TOTALLY ruin those aspects either... the fact that it was an elite area and was being cleared by 2 or 3 people in 30-45 mins easily (i know there are MUCH faster times btw... just kind of an average from what i've seen) was the problem... now that its taking a full party and over an hour (which again im sure will be improved upon) they did what they intended to do and that's take away the solo aspect of it and make a group work together more than previously was needed.

So they basically nerfed it back to ursanway levels. Irony, much? Where's all the people who bitched about that to complain about permas? Oh right, not enough people even play the game to notice now.

Ok lets see...i've thought of something along this lines:

> 2 A/E or A/E + A/Me - simply pop reapers and tank where you can.
> 2 600/Smite teams (yup, 4 people). They do wastes quest. One team takes reaper sides, the other goes to frozenwind with the other 6. Sins tank webs and 600 tanks skeletons. They can also be helpful at uwg since they can deal with skeletons (yah, they'll do uwg)
> 1 Spirit Spammer . Useful on wastes and at killing dhuums skellies.
> 1 Spiteful Spirit. Same work as always, helps at vale & wastes.


It SHOULD be easy. At start (very start, pop cons soon), quest is taken and sin gets away aatxes & grasping. SS and Spirt spammer kill that skeleton of dhuum at the right side. Both sins tank the grasping and aatxes and SS kills em. SS and spirit spammer kill the skeleton that is on the way to chamber. One sin heads chaos plains, the other one either heads to pools or gets chamber aggro. SS kills it. The sin goes to pools if he hasnt gone yet. (The pull can be done by monks, but it would be slower). Main team (SS + 600/Smite(s) + Spirit) heads vale and kill the dhuumie on the way. They clear vale and do wrathfuls spirts (They SHOULD be able to do it). By now, plains should have popped reaper and pools done quest. Tele lab and make 1 sin head to mnt and the other head wastes. Main team does escort (again, they should make it). When mnt is popped and so is wastes, do either one of these: if mnt is popped bfr wastes, do demon assasin. If mnt is popped after wastes, tele wastes and do quest. I think setup for wastes should be 1 600 team covering reaper, the rest of the team covering frozenwind. The ones covering frozenwind; sin tanks webs, all team kills dhuums. Tele mnt and do demon assasin (remember killing webs & keepers). Tele plains, do 4h. One sin goes to pits. Careful with the Dhuums Skeletons, dont kill em. Pop reaper (making it safe), tele pits and make the team kill dhuum skeletons. Do pits quest. (sin tanks). Tele lab again, 600 and sins do uwg.


So, what do you think?

just confirmed.

600's can tank skeletons as long as they have a little agro to keep em healed, which is nice. BUT webs beat 600's, by wanding them down with their 14 dmg shite wands. the damage from the smiter will rarely accumulate to kill a terrorweb.

A spirit spammer can tank skeletons, webs, behemots , nightfires and many others , even in hardmode , tested with 2 spirit spammer. Now smites are not doable with spirit spammers.

i would be interested to know the limits of a spirit spammer team. how many terrorwebs is too many for them? it is possible to position 3 spirit spammer teams for the wastes quest. one north of king, one south of king, and one near reaper. but would they be able to hold up?

4H you can have 3 rits on each side which is nice.

pits probably have 2 teams on either side again.
